The Zedtwitz Maple is a commemorative sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplatanus) tree that grows on a slope in the garden below the building of the city museum in Aš, which was originally the castle of the noble Zdetwitz family.The tree grows on the so-called Mikulášský vrch, which is considered the place of the first settlement of the city and was once the administrative center of . The naming of the commemorative tree commemorates the Zedwitz family (also Zedtwitz), whose members began to build their estates in the Aš region in the 15th century. The tree has a straight trunk, a high regular crown that dries out at the top. The tree reaches a height of 24 m, the trunk circumference measures 405 cm (measured in 2015).The tree has been protected since 2015 as an aesthetically interesting tree, a significant landscape element with significant growth.
