Villa Felicitas is named after the daughter of the factory owner Zenker, who was wheelchair-bound. That is why the interior and furnishings of the villa were modified to make it easier for her to move around the villa with a wheelchair. It is an architectural gem that you can see not only from the outside but also from the inside by appointment.
Villa Felicitas
The Zenker family of glove makers had a significant impact on the architecture of the city, leaving behind architecturally interesting, modern buildings of a villa character in Abertamy. Villa Felicitas (Zenker) is one of them. It is a rarely preserved building with many original elements. Due to its exceptional preservation, it is sometimes also called the Tugendhat villa of the Karlovy Vary region. The building is now a registered immovable cultural monument belonging to the city of Abertamy.
